Today is the eighth day, one week and one day of the omer.
הַיּוֹם שְׁמוֹנָה יָמִים שֶׁהֵם שָׁבֽוּעַ אֶחָד וְיוֹם אֶחָד לָעֹֽמֶר
Hayom sh'monah yamim sheheim shavua ekhad v'yom ekhad la'omer.
חסד שבגבורה
Chesed Sh’b’Gevurah
וַיִּקְרָ֧א אֱלֹהִ֛ים לָֽרָקִ֖יעַ שָׁמָ֑יִם וַֽיְהִי־עֶ֥רֶב וַֽיְהִי־בֹ֖קֶר י֥וֹם שֵׁנִֽי
And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. (Genesis 1:8)
