1 Iyyar, Rosh Chodesh

Today is the sixteenth day, two weeks and two days of the omer.

הַיּוֹם שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם שֶׁהֵם שְׁנֵי שָׁבוּעוֹת וּשְׁנֵי יָמִים לָעֹֽמֶר

 Hayom shishah asar yom sheheim sh'nei
shavuot ush'nei yamim la'omer.

גבורה שבתפארת

 Gevurah Sh’b’Tiferet

 וַיַּ֣עַשׂ אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶת־שְׁנֵ֥י הַמְּאֹרֹ֖ת הַגְּדֹלִ֑ים אֶת־הַמָּא֤וֹר
הַגָּדֹל֙ לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת הַיּ֔וֹם וְאֶת־הַמָּא֤וֹר הַקָּטֹן֙ לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת
הַלַּ֔יְלָה וְאֵ֖ת הַכּֽוֹכָבִֽים

And God made two great lights; the large light to rule the day, and the small light to rule the night; and... made the stars. (Genesis 1:16)
